I have had my real estate license since 1961. My career started with Snyder Kinney and Bennet in Birmingham, I wanted to start with a well known company. Even though I lived in Metamora, I opened a Snyder Kinney Bennet in Rochester as general manager in 1965. I bought an old 1866 building in Metamora to remodel into a real estate office in the early 1970’s to go on my own however SKB wanted a Lapeer County location so the Metamora building was used for that. In the early 1980’s it became RJ Holden Associates, my dream as an independent. I’ve had up to 15 associates throughout the years. Under my leadership we have been responsible for over 500 million dollars of real estate transactions.
We now have three generations at RJ Holden Associates. My son Bill and my grandson Nick are carrying on our tradition of fairness, honesty, and good business practices resulting in many repeat customers and transactions. Give this family of realtors a try and we know you will join the many past clients who say “we are still around, so they must be doing it right”.
